How to request an appointment
You can request an appointment with a doctor or clinician by using our get help for any health problem form. Your request will be assessed and assigned to the best person to help you with your concern.
To request an appointment during opening times:
We will respond to requests within 2 working hours.
Depending on the time you submit your request, you may not get a response on the same day.

Routine appointments
Routine appointments are usually booked or arranged in advance and you will be seen by a clinician such as a nurse or healthcare assistant.

To request a routine appointment in advance during opening times:
We will respond within 4 working hours.
You can also:
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) or Patient Access to book an appointment, screening test or vaccination

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use your answers to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or healthcare professional to help you.
